As part of the MA Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice Degree show this year, we invite you to join us for the launch of the book “The Contingency of Curation”.
This 190 page book acts as a document and a strand of subsequent research, notes discussion, interviews and an archive of debates and projects that stem from our conference “The Contingency of Curation” held in May at Tate Britain.
The project involves students in MA Curating from The University of Essex and Sheffield Hallam University and features curators, artists and writers from across the UK including Emma Dexter, Emily Pethwick, Munira Mirza, Roman Vasseur, Marie-Anne McQuay, Richard Birkett, Sound Threshold, and many others….
We look forward to seeing you on the 1st.

The Contingency of Curation Fundraiser

MA Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice at Chelsea College of art are curating a conference at Tate Britain on the 21st May 2010 entitled The Contingency of Curation, working together with other MA Curating students from the University of Essex and Sheffield Hallam University.
To raise funds for this event we are holding this amazing RAFFLE at the Grosvenor pub just around the corner from both the Tate Britain and the Chelsea College of Art and Design campus. Join us on May 7th for an evening of fundraising, prizes and discussion at our local pub.
